GENERAL DESCRIPTION
'Joan Shori' is a 68 ft GRP (fibre glass) pleasure motor yacht designed for comfortable family cruising in-shore and off-shore waters. The boat was design by Bruce Roberts, a well known British designer of pleasure boats and to-date it is claimed that there are well over 4000 boats of this class built all over the world.
ACCOMMODATION
The vessel has a large air-conditioned lounge and dining room, a well equipped kitchen, an airy flybridge, large fore and aft decks and a swim platform. She has a roomy master cabin, one cabin suitable for 2 guests, two smaller cabins and a cabin for 2 crew members. All cabins have full en-suite toilet facilities. The crew has a separate entrance.
She is extremely well maintained and has been used purely for family cruises. Sea journey has taken her to Phuket and even further north many times and to the Andaman Islands. In the last 12 months, she has been used for charter purposes when the family is not using her.

Range: the theoretical max. range is about 1100 nm., the realistic range is 600 to 800 nm.
Electrical system: 240v a.c. and 24v d.c.
Navigation equipment: 24 nm radar, wind indicator, depth sounder, magnetic compass, fish finder, auto pilot, GPS, chart plotter, navtex and VHF.
Bilge pumps: every compartment has 1 unit of electric bilge pump and one unit mechanical pump.
Safety equipment: in addition to life jackets she has 2 units of 12-man life rafts.
Galley (kitchen) equipment: electric hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, gas cooker and other misc. kitchen equipment.
Air conditioning: the lounge is air conditioned by 2 units of standard split unit air conditioners. The guest cabin has a marine air conditioner.
Charter: In the last 12 months the vessel has been used for day charters. The nett income per year is estimated to be about RM 100,000 which is just enough to cover the expenses of the boat.
Documents: the following documents will be included: i) registration document, ii) drawing and plans, iii) maintenance manuals and iv) misc. files.

CONDITION OF SALE
The boat is sold on an as-is basis. However before delivery the present owner will, at his cost, have the vessel up-slipped for the annual maintenance (which includes hull painting and general engine maintenance) and other minor repairs, so that the new owner can look forward to at least 18 months of trouble free yachting.
